The Friends of MLK have teamed up with James Wilmington and Sheilia Burrage to host the Inaugural Unity in the Community Summerfest on Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 11 am to 5 pm at LeClaire Park Bandshell.  James and Sheila manifested this event after successfully hosting the community free Back to School /Hog Roast that filled Herrington Park.  It caught the attention of the City of Davenport and today families are able to enjoy those events held at four different parks every summer.

 

The time is now right to host another Community Unity event for the entire Quad Cities.  Join us with TikTok Celebrities DJ King Legendary and his wife DJ Casie D. who will join us all the way from South Carolina.  They are on the air several times a week with a great following of over 200,000 plus listeners daily!
